Memorydex Monday: Birdhouse Memorydex Card with Tim Holtz and P13
Happy Monday and welcome to another addition of Memorydex Monday.
I wanted to make a little birdhouse out of one of the Tim Holtz paper village houses and I thought it would be the perfect match for a Memorydex card, and that the P13 Forest Tea Party collection would be so sweet for this!
I started by cutting my memorydex card from a cute blue polkadot paper from P13. I then cut a house from a woodgrain print. To keep the little house from sticking too far out from the base of the memorydex card, I trimmed down the sides (to just over half the width) as well as the roof.
I then inked the edges with Distress Oxide for a little more dimension and then assembled the house using the 1/8" double-sided adhesive from Scrapbook.com.
Next I fussy cut a whole bunch of elements from P13's Forest Tea Party, including a cute little bird for the birdhouse. I also cut out some Funky Florals and a word die from Scrapbook.com's A2 Floral cardstock pad.
I then used a variety of adhesives, including Smart Glue and foam adhesive to assemble everything onto the Memorydex card. To finish it off, I tucked in a few bits of lace and some pearls.
That's it! so easy and so sweet! Until next time, happy crafting!
