I've always loved decorative doors. There's just something so intriguing about them and what might lie behind them. 

This month's inspiration and color palette from Scrapbook.com was full of fun, summery colors and elements. 

I'm a gardener so any chance that I get to play with a collection that is all about flowers, I am definitely going to take advantage of the opportunity!

Sometimes you just need a quick and simple card, especially during the holidays!

Sometimes you just have a lot of photos that you want to include in a scrapbook page.

I have never gotten this big of a head start on Christmas makes. Usually I wait until after Halloween to start and then I always feel rushed. I'm really enjoying getting some tags and cards done early and I think I'm going to have to make it a point to start doing this every year! 

I am just in love with making tags right now! I think they are fun to add to gifts or send instead of a card, but they are especially fun at Christmas.

As a classical musician, Christmas can be overwhelming. You start rehearsing music in early October, sometimes even in September. Holiday music becomes inescapable at stores. You start humming Sleigh Ride absentmindedly. And Christmas in July just piles on. But this year, it's different for me. 

Mixed media projects don't have to be big or a huge undertaking to make an impact.
