And Then She…: A Scrapbook Layout for CSI

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I've been scrapping up a storm again lately and I've already finished up another page for a challenge.

And then She… A scrapbook layout by Alice Scraps Wonderland | Soft pastels and a cool brown create the base of this layout. Layers of gesso and embellishments accent the photo.

This time it's for Color Stories Inspiration case file #158. I really enjoyed this challenge as it gave me a chance to use some of my patterned paper stash. The pastels were perfect for the Pink Paislee Color Wash collection!

Soft pastels and a cool brown create the base of this layout. Layers of gesso and embellishments accent the photo.

I used just a thin wash of gesso over the background then spritzed and dripped some color mists on top of that. I added a bit of a background stamp then used my Silhouette and sketch pens to do some journaling. Finally I layered on my embellishments including a sweet little vellum pouch from Studio Calico filled with sparkly sequins!
