Layering a single die can create some of the most incredible dimension!

We all know that many of the paper craft companies make dies that have layering as a feature of a particular die set. But have you tried layering dies that don't have that specific feature built in to the dies themselves?

Take this brand new Bow Toppers die from Scrapbook.com as one such die that you can layer even though not all of the bows were specifically designed to do so. This set has a plethora of different bow sizes and styles, giving you tons of variety.

So while some of the different sized bows are definitely made for layering, you can also layer the exact same die cut as well to create the same incredible dimension. In this case, I offset the bows a little when layering the same cut and paired up different hues of pink paper from the Roses Smooth Cardstock Pad.

Plus layering the same or similar die cuts also makes quick work for creating a card, especially when you fill the card up in a grid pattern, like I did with this card. Simply stamp a sentiment in a coordinating Distress Oxide to one of the grid blocks, and voilà--you have an adorable card!

For even more dimension, I bent the top layer of the bow up and and then adhered the layered bows to the card with strip of foam adhesive. And you know I couldn't resist some bling, adding it to the center of each bow and around the sentiment. Super simple, but super sweet! Until next time, happy crafting!
