Floral Mini Mini Album Inspired by Paige Evans
It's been a bit since the 2023 SBC Fest, but I'm still so inspired by all of the amazing classes!
I really loved the amount of mini albums that were taught in the 2023 SBC Fest! My goal is to create more wonderful minis. I already created one "mini mini album" inspired by Paige Evans' class using a collection and some dies I already had on hand.
But I decided I needed to buy her Garden Shoppe collection elements that she used for her class and make another mini mini album! You can never have too many papers--especially when they are filled with pretty floral patterns!
I won't do a step-by-step tutorial here since Paige teaches this album so well! But I will share images of all of my pages in my mini mini album to help inspire you even more!
The cover features a sweet yellow and white polka dot pattern. I added a coral piece of floral ephemera, some die cut leaves, a bee sticker and a sentiment sticker.
The reverse of the cover has some ephemera and stickers. On the next page, I created a blue pocket by sewing half of a Nested Spring Flower die onto a full one. I added some ephemera and stickers to this page.
This adorable "laugh out loud" letter board fussy cut from a piece of paper comes out of the pocket. I also added some stickers to the front of the pocket.
The next page is nice and simple, featuring a foam Thicker and a cardstock sticker that I popped up with foam adhesive.
I'll be taking photos of my niece for this album later, so I have placed white cardstock mattes where I want the photos to be. I added a little boarder sticker under the cardstock matte and I popped a sentiment sticker up with a little piece of foam adhesive. A fussy cut bird from one of the papers and a die cut leaf also got added to this page.
This adorable pink page has a smaller nested die cut in white cardstock that I applied Cloud Whip through the Mini Hearts Grid stencil with. I added die cut leaves, ephemera and stickers to this page.
For this page, I created another pocket, adding a bit of a sticker boarder to the top edge of the pocket. A layered and double sided tag as well as a piece of ephemera with a couple places for photos got inserted in the pocket. A foiled piece of ephemera got added to the outside of the pocket.
Here are the front sides of the tag.
And the backside of the tag with the front side of the ephemera piece with white cardstock matte.
And the back of the ephemera piece. I added my niece's name to this side using the sticker letters.
I went all out with the die cut leaves on this page! I arranged them in sort of a rainbow order to create a wreath under a cardstock sticker.
The final inside page got some fussy cut flowers, die cut leaves, foam heart stickers and a fun photo flip put together with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.
Here's a peek at one of the pages inside the photo flip. The inside of the photo flip has some stickers and a sentiment cut from one of the papers.
The back of the album has a large foam Thicker and some leaves. I added the Made with Love sticker. And I of course sprinkled some jewels throughout the entire album! This album is just so fun and colorful and I think I'll be returning to this collection to make more mini albums with nested dies!
Until next time, happy crafting!
Adrienne
