Slipping a gift card into a stocking is great, but why not make something pretty to hold it?

It is so easy and quick to make a pretty gift card holder. In fact, it only took my about 5 minutes to make one of these!

Here are the supplies you'll need to make this little gift card holder--all of which you can get at Scrapbook.com:

Start by cutting out the larger envelope from a piece of black cardstock in the Christmas pad, holding the die in place with some mint tape while running it through your machine.

Using a paper trimmer, cut a 2 3/8" square piece of red glitter paper to fit the front of the envelope. Use an adhesive roller to glue the red glitter paper to the front of the envelope.

Next, fold your envelope at the score lines, folding one of the rounded edges over the front of the envelope and the other three sides to the back. Adhere them in place with a dab of smart glue (I also used a bit of 1/8" double sided adhesive for the bigger flaps).

Then, cut the smallest tree from a piece of green cardstock in the Christmas pad. Add some small foam squares to the back and pop it onto the front of the envelope. Add a sentiment sticker and a few drops of  the Rudolph Red Pops of Color.

Once your Pops of Color have hardened, you can slide that gift card in and spread the holiday cheer! Until next time, happy crafting!
