Need a quick and simple New Year's or Christmas card? This little card is a breeze to make!
We've all needed that last minute little card and this guy is a breeze to make. You can make it a regular A2 sized card, but I decided to create a mini 4x4 inch square card. (If you have the Sizzix Scoring Board and Trimmer, making a custom sized envelope is so easy!)
Now let's get into this quick and easy tutorial.
Cut a 4 inch square matte from the Gold Opulent cardstock. Then cut a 3 3/4 inch square from the black cardstock from the Festive cardstock. Distress the edges of the black cardstock with the Surfacez Multi-Tool for more texture.
Run some of the white cardstock through your die cut machine in the Ornate Repeat 3D embossing folder (don't forget to spritz it with a little water first). Then trim it down to a 3 1/2 inch square. Die cut some of the stars from the Festive Foliage die from the Silver Opulent cardstock.
To assemble, use 1mm thick foam adhesive to glue the black layer onto the gold and the white layer onto the black. Then use 2 mm thick foam to pop the silver stars on. Using the Express Glue, pop on a few Matte Silver Pearls. Then glue the card onto a white card base (4x8 inches, scored at 4 inches).
That's it! So simple and easy. You can always add a sentiment to the outside of the card with a sticker or a stamp, but I like it clean and simple just like this. Until next time, happy crafting!
