Learn how to turn the Tim Holtz Sizzix Colorize Layered Jack-o-lantern into cute plush ornaments for your Halloween tree or to adorn candy bags this Spooky Season!
Hey, crafty friend! If you haven't done a lot of die cutting of felt, or you just love Halloween stuff, then this tutorial video is for you!
I used the rereleased Colorize Layered Jack-o-lantern to make some plush felt ornaments for Halloween. In my tutorial video, I share tips to help you create beautiful felt die cuts, including the type of felt you should use, the type of die cut machine that gives you the best results, and tips for layering felt together!

I also talk about hot glue guns, how and when to use liquid glue and more! If you want to know the specific colors of felt I used from the packs I've listed below, here is a break down:
- Sizzix Felt: orange
- Spellbinders Felt Warm: darker orange and amber yellow
- Spellbinders Felt Cool: olive green
- Spellbinders Felt Neutral: light brown
- Spellbinders Felt Festive: black
I did make two of the ornaments where the top layer of orange is the darker orange felt and one where the top layer of orange is the lighter orange felt for some variety!
Be sure to head over to my YouTube channel to check out the full video, and until next time, happy crafting!
