How to Create a Dreamy Alice in Wonderland Poppy Themed Vignette Box
Fall into a delicate meadow of poppies with this poppy-themed DIY vignette box created with an upcycled brie box and the Prima Marketing Return to Wonderland collection.
Hi, crafty friend! Poppies are one of my favorite flowers and so I just adore the poppy elements in the Return to Wonderland collection. The colors are so striking and eye catching!
This vignette box is actually made from an upcycled brie box. So next time you have a wine and charcuterie night, hang on to that brie wheel box! Now I decorated the inside of this upcycled box with poppies, as well as the back...
...plus the top!
But I won't go into the step-by-step here because I cover it all in my latest YouTube tutorial, which you can find below.
Watch Now:
Let's look at a few more photos of this pretty project and talk about a few things. First, I used the Deck of Cards Mould from the Lost in Wonderland collection. So if you have this mould, you can use it like I did here. But if you don't have this mould, don't fret! Just select a different Prima/Redesign mould that has plenty of texture or architectural interest--it's just part of the background, so use whatever you have!
These tiny flowers from the poppies set is absolutely perfect for the top of the box!
And you can never go wrong with adding glitter, pearls and crystals for a bit of sparkle to your project.
And with that, I hope that you enjoy my tutorial video and it inspires to you create something beautiful with the poppies in the Return to Wonderland collection. Until next time, happy crafting!
