Hi, crafty friends! You’ve probably recently scene the latest Sizzix release in collaboration with 49 & Market. It features layered stamps and coordinating dies for some of the stamps.

In my latest YouTube tutorial, I show you hot to use your layered stamps, Distress Oxides and a little water to make the watercolor magic happen! I won’t go into the tutorial here—you’ll have to watch the video for that. But I do have a full list of supplies below for you to shop if you want to recreate this project!

You’ll definitely want a stamping platform for this technique as it certainly makes it easier. If you don’t already have one, I highly recommend the Sizzix Stencil and Stamp Platform. There’s no lip on the lower piece so you can stamp on larger papers, including 12x12 papers.

You can also use acrylic and rubber stamps in this platform without the use of any adapters. And of course you can also use it to stencil with, by placing the stencil adapter in there. If you happen to use Sizzix stencils, the layered stencils fit right on the little notches so you don’t have to worry about lining your stencils up on your own.

And Sizzix has recently shared some previews of a cool new adapter for their Stencil and Stamp Platform that will further increase its capabilities. I can’t wait for you all to see it! Until next time, happy crafting!
