DIY Seed Packet Mini Album Tutorial

From trimming and scoring, to decorating and filling your pockets, learn how to create this spring-inspired mini album from start to finish!

I love figuring out how to create and assemble my own mini album! Luckily for you, I've done all the figuring out for you!

Seed packet style mini albums created with the Prima Marketing The 3 Girls Tale In Full Bloom collection papers, ephemera, and stickers; plus some charms from the Miel collection.

This mini album is a seed packet style. Each mini features a flap closure, a waterfall binding, and four pockets for you to stuff with journaling cards and tags decorated with the prettiest ephemera! 


I've got a full video tutorial on my YouTube channel (and on the Prima YouTube channel) that includes all the measurements you need, and step-by-step instructions.

For this particular set of mini albums, I used the In Full Bloom collection as well as a few charms from the Miel collection. The charms on the front are what weigh down the flap closure and keep this mini closed.

Some other options for closure would include using some brads and circles to create a manilla envelope style closure, or using velcro dots!

In the video, I also give my tips for adhesives and how to create dimension without overstuffing your minis, ensuring they still close nicely.
