These sweet little bunny banners are so easy to make! A few die cuts and some lace is all you need. Let's hop right into the quick and easy tutorial (pun intended)!

Start by cutting out the Bunny Stitch dies from Tim Holtz. I selected a deep brown for the silhouette and a crushed velvet paper for the top layer of the bunnies. Just choose whatever papers match your style and vibe!

Next, cut out two sizes from the Nested Flag Banners from some patterned paper. I used the Boho and Harvest patterned papers from Scrapbook.com. I made sure to choose a tone-on-tone subtle pattern for the larger flag banner and a more contrasty one for the smaller banner.

Distress your edges of your flag banners with the edge of a metal ruler or with a distress tool. Then add a small bit of adhesive to the top of the back of the smaller banner and glue it to the larger one. This will help hold it in place but still curl the bottoms with your fingers. For the lace, you can add it with a dab of hot glue or by sewing it on. I chose to sew it on and left the threads long on the ends for added interest.

Then glue your bunny layers together. I like to Collage Medium Matte for this so I have time for wiggling it right into place and any "squish out" dries clear and matte. Cut a few leaves using a favorite floral or foliage die. For this one, I used the larger leaf die from Bloom Colorize set, cutting it from some smooth cardstock (I used a green from the Boho pad).

Before glueing down the bunnies and leaves, I shaped the leaves with a shaping kit. I added a layer of foam adhesive to the back of each bunny, then before adding the bunny on the banner, I pressed the stem of the leaves into the foam adhesive and then glued the cluster of dies in place on the banners. I added a little bit of foam adhesive to the backs of some of the leaves as well.

To add just a little bit of Easter elegance to these sweet bunnies, they needed some layered bows around their necks. I used the Bow Topper die set and cut two bows for each bunny from the Roses and Boho cardstock pads. Glue just the center of the bows together, then gently bend up the edges to add dimension. Then adhere each bow in place with a small bit of foam adhesive.

To finish it off, add a few gems to each banner. I used some light pink and orange gems from Pinkfresh. And that's it! It's so simple and so quick to make. And these would look adorable hung up. You can even punch holes on either side of the top of the banner to string some ribbon through. Or you can attach these to an Easter basket or present. Until next time, happy crafting!
