Alice Scraps Wonderland | Blushing Bride Handmade Wedding Card

Summer is quickly approaching  and that means weddings--lots and lots of weddings!  And who doesn't love lots of pretty flowers on a wedding card?

A rosy-hued wedding card for a blushing bride and her groom.

One of the colors of my bonus sister's  wedding was rose gold.  It's a hard color to recreate with scrapbooking supplies when many of the supplies out there aren't of that color.  So I went with various blush colors, adding in bits of red, yellow and orange for a blushing sunset-hued card.

Her bouquet was going to mimic Colorado wildflowers so I mimicked that with sprays of shaggy ribbon, flower soft and even a Colorado Columbine flower.

I used the same papers that I had used to make her bridal shower banner as the background of the card.  I backed it with a doily and added a sentiment that was colored ever so slightly with a shimmery pink.  I also added flower stamens colored with alcohol inks as well as pearls and a velum butterfly for accent.
