How to Decorate the Scrapbook.com Explosion Box with Prima's Return to Wonderland Collection
It's an explosion of fun with Scrapbook.com's Explosion Box and Prima Marketing's Return to Wonderland! This is a can't miss tutorial!
Hey, crafty friend! Prima Marketing just released their Return to Wonderland collection, a follow up to Lost in Wonderland. This collection features red poppies, lots of mushrooms, and of course Alice. The colors are a little different in Return to Wonderland, but they coordinate so well with Lost in Wonderland, so if you still have that older collection, you can definitely combine the two!
But this collection, and some of the new elements in it like the Frame Ephemera and the Stationary Kit, are perfect for decorating a Scrapbook.com Explosion Box! And the fabulous news is that I have a full tutorial video for you exclusively over on the Scrapbook.com channel sharing how to create this stunning project from start to finish!
Over on that video, I include all the measurements you need to add pretty Return to Wonderland papers to your box, ideas for decorating your pocket pages, ideas to add papers and embellishments to your interactive elements and filling the pockets, plus, how to create a stunning dimensional lid!
I won't go into detail here on the tutorial as I share quite a lot in the video, but I will share some photos here to help you get a closer peek at everything! Plus, I have a supply list that you can shop at the bottom of this blog post!
The lid of the box features some pretty moulds painted with Art Philosophy watercolors and of course some of the flowers from the collection.
I used the 6x6 paper pad to cover the outside of the explosion box, and added a little bit of light blue pom pom trim.
I filled several of the pockets in this explosion box with the Stationary Kit, which includes some cute little envelopes and pretty stationary paper.
I also filled the pockets with the fun interactive elements that come in the explosion box, decorating them with papers, ephemera and journaling cards from Return to Wonderland.
I also used the Sticker Roll to decorate the plain side of the pockets. I also used the Tickets and die cut doily borders to create my own fun patterns.
Finally, I used a ton of the ephemera, including the Frame Ephemera, and die cut florals to create fun embellished pockets.
Be sure to head over and watch the tutorial video now, and until next time, happy crafting!
