Hi, crafty friend! Prima Marketing just released their Christmas Cheer Box! If you love Christmas and Prima Marketing, then you definitely don't want to miss out on this limited edition box. Boxes will vary a little bit, but you should expect to get trims, charms, chipboard stickers, ephemera, vellum sheets, and of course, a ton of paper and some flowers!

And it is this Box kit that I used to create this sweet little Christmas tree shaped mini album, along with a tree shaped metal die cut. As always, you can find all of the supplies used for this project listed below, so let's get right into this tutorial!

You can add as many pages to this mini album as you want since it's on a loose leaf ring binder. So select the number of patterns you want from the Christmas Market 12x12 Paper Pad in the box kit and trim it down to 6 inches wide.

Then run each patterned paper through your die cut machine with the Nested Fir Trees die. I used the die that is just over 8 inches in length. After you've cut each one, stack them together and then use a hole punch or the Crop-o-dile to punch a hole near the top of the tree just off to the side.

The internal pages include photos, ephemera, fussy cut elements and puffy stickers. To add texture, I did a lot of tearing and layering.

I also added some lace trims from my stash. You can sew it on to your pages, but I just used a dot of hot glue to add my lace.

For dimension, you want to keep it pretty minimal, so use 1mm thick foam adhesive to add space between your layers on the internal pages.

I think these internal pages turned out so sweet, but let's get to what you probably came here for--the cover!

Let's add some trim to this tree! Use the Ruffle Trim in the kit, folding it along the center where it is sewn. Attach the trim to your tree with hot glue, adding a few dots of glue to the inside center to hold the fold over. Trim off the excess.

Add a large chipboard sticker to the tree with some foam adhesive to help pop it up. Tuck some of the smaller Christmas Market flowers under two of the corners of the chipboard with hot glue. Add the large green flower on top of the chipboard sticker and tuck som of the beaded berries under your flowers.

Pop on the 25 from the ephemera pack, a chipboard sentiment sticker to your embellishment cluster. Pop a gold chipboard star onto the top of the tree then add several puffy sticker stars all over your tree. Add some sparkly gems and then give your tree a nice little splatter with a white paint marker.

After the paint is dry, you can add your cover and pages to a loose leaf binder ring. Pop on some of the charms from the kit. I also added a tree charm I made using the die set--use the second smallest one, cutting it from shrink plastic. Punch a hole in the top of the tree and then use your heat tool to shrink the plastic down. The Sizzix shrink plastic accessory kit will help you keep your shrink plastic nice and flat as it heats up and shrinks down.

To finish off your album, add a little ribbon, tying it around the binder ring. And now this album is ready for gifting or scrapping your holiday memories! Until next time, happy crafting!
