Father of the Bride: A Wedding Scrapbook Layout
Sometimes a girl just needs some ruffly tulle. I went into this layout knowing I wanted to use this pretty tulle trim from Prima. I've been stashing this little gem away for a long time and I just loved how it paired nicely with the Something Blue papers that have hints of creamy yellow in them.
I started out with a watercolor cardstock base and then added some torn paper from the Something Blue collection. Next I added on my journaling cards and a brad.
I also fussy cut out some roses from the 6x6 pad of paper, added some flowers, a chipboard sticker element and some gemstones. I popped a little butterfly paper clip on there and even added some gold thread under the flowers.
I really like how this layout turned out with the hues of gold, pastel yellow and cream. It makes for a very soft layout, but not overly feminine since this is a photo of my sister and our dad.
