Hey, crafty friend! I have a super easy mixed media/altered art tutorial for you--you can even do this is you are a total mixed media novice! And it's so quick and easy you'll have some cute spring decor in no time.

All you need are a set of wooden bunnies for the base of this project. These bunnies were already painted white and distressed, so all you have to do is alter them for a little bit of floral charm. So let's get into the tutorial! (I've got all of the supplies listed below that you'll need to alter your own wooden bunnies!)

To add texture to your bunnies, start by applying Finnabair's Modeling Paste through one of her floral stencils. I chose the Dandelions stencil, but placed it upside down as I just like the look of it that way.

After the modeling paste is dry on one side, flip the bunnies over and add stenciled modeling paste to the other side.

After the modeling paste is fully dry, add some chiffon ribbon around the neck of each bunny. I cut the cream colored ribbon to between 15 and 20 inches long, then cut it in half. I frayed the cut edges before tying it in a bow.

Pick out three small flowers for each bunny. I chose a green and pink from Serene Petals "Budding Serenity" set, and a blue one from the Return to Wonderland "Wonderland Wild" set.

Take the 3 stemmed leaves with rose hip from the Return to Wonderland "Alice's Dream" set and shape the leaves and twirl the stem around a paintbrush handle.

With hot glue, attach the leaves and a flower to each bunny just under the ribbon.

Apply a little bit of Finnabair's Soft Matte Gel to the flowers, leaves and rose hip then sprinkle on some clear glitter from the Spring glitter set. Using the same gel, apply some of Finn's Art Stones to the flowers and bunnies.

The finishing touch is to add some color-coordinating gems. I used the pink and green gems from the Serene Petals Say It in Crystals and the blue from the Bohemian Heart Say It In Crystals. And that's it! So easy and quick, and perfect for spring. Until next time, happy crafting!
