Layered Christmas Tags with New Prima Marketing Collections!
The holiday season is the season of pretty gift tags! Make it special with these sweet handmade tag ideas.
Hey, crafty friends! Prima Marketing just released their new From the North Pole and 25 & Peppermint collections! Both are stunning collections. (You can shop the full supply list for both tags at the bottom of this supply list.)
I've got another amazing project to share with you later this week using From the North Pole, but in the meantime, I wanted to share these pretty tag ideas.
First, let's take a look at my 25 & Pepper mint tag. After die cutting the tag out of the 8x8 inch pad, I addd texture to the background through a stencil with Finnabair's Snowflake Paste.
I then fussy cut the tree from the remaining paper, leaving the pile of gifts with it, but cutting the deer off (I saved his bow though).
Then I layered on this fussy cut tree with ephemera from both of the ephemera packs.
I tucked in a few of the smaller flowers and a bit of lace.
To top off this tag, I added the sweet little Maltese dog in in a snow cap with one of the sediment ephemera pieces. Then I popped that sweet little bow that saved on his scarf. (This little dog reminds me of my sweet, Magnus.)
To finish it all off, I added a few Memory Hardware Pearls, a bit of snowflake paste to the ephemera and flowers, and tied on a chiffon ribbon.
Up next is my From the North Pole tag! I die cut a tag from the 6x8 paper pad, and like the last one, I applied Finn's Snowflake Paste through a stencil.
I fussy cut the lollipop from the 12x12 paper pad and pulled the lollipop from the Icons Ephemera pack.
I added one of the larger deep burgundy flowers and holly sprigs to the tag, then glued the fussy cut ephemera on top of it.
Next, I glued on one of the bright red flowers with some lace on top of that.
I tucked one of the tickets into the burgundy flower, then layered in the small lollipop ephemera.
I also added a gold sprig and poinsettia spray from the Floral Ephemera pack and tucked in a small cream flower.
The finishing touch was adding a sentiment chipboard sticker, some crystals and a chiffon ribbon.
I hope that you enjoyed these two sweet tags! They are perfect for attaching to your holiday gifts for special, handmade touch. Until next time, happy crafting!
Adrienne
