Hi, crafty friend! I took the same torn paper layout idea from my last layout I created based on the Vicki Boutin 2026 Spring SBC Fest class, but because I’m scrapping a photo of my nephew this time, I decided to go with a more masculine color palette. 

That doesn’t mean you can’t add in things like butterflies and flowers though! And since my nephew is blowing bubbles on a nice day in these photos, the spring elements of butterflies and flowers are still perfect for this layout. 

Be sure to check out my tutorial for the other layout I created for my niece on vacation at the beach. The steps are all the same, I just used different colors for this layout. I opted for green, blue and orange as the main colors for this layout. 

But let’s take a look at a few of the details of this particular page, and then at the bottom of the post, I’ve embedded Vicki’s SBC Fest class and I have a full list of the supplies I used in my version of this scrapbook page. 

I used the blue butterfly ephemera piece to layer on top a sentiment ephemera piece. I also added some of the clouds ephemera to this layout because it just sets the whole scene of a nice sunny day with a few clouds in the sky. 

I created the same little cluster of Double Edgers and a title for this layout, but did it in orange and blue. I also added a different sticker on top of the cluster that is gold for a little flair!

I added flowers under the torn edges of the paper and moved the stamped and die cut leaf from the class kit to this area too--The green pops so much better over the white.

Finally, because this layout is all about blowing some bubbles and having some fun, I chose a paper with circles on it, and then added a lot of the circle stickers to tie it all in.
