I love a good tea in a vintage teacup.

After yesterday's macaron card, I definitely need a cup of tea to go with it!

To start, I chose a patterned paper from the Prima Marketing With Love collection by Frank Garcia. Using a Memorydex die, I cut a the paper and some white tulle out. 

Next, I used my sewing machine to start stitching the tulle to the card. I sewed three edges then I added sequins in between the card and the tulle, then finished sewing it closed. I trimmed off the excess tulle at the bottom of the card. I also sewed on a lace doily.

Next, I die cut out a vintage tea cup, layering my pieces together. To adhere it, I used foam squares to pop it up off the background. I then added a flower, some gems and a puffy sticker. I also added some charms, including a little metal teacup one.

The gift on this card is a bag of Tazo tea. I die cut out a small pocket, gluing it together and then glueing it to the back of the card. I also added some ephemera, paper flowers, gems and a small sentiment sticker.
