Macarons are one of my favorite sweet treats, so I of course had to include them in this advent calendar.

There is nothing I love more than sitting down with a good book and a sweet treat. And since I love macarons, I decided to make some little die cut ones to place on this basic pocket card that holds a gift card to Barnes & Noble. 

For this card, I used both the Sherbet and Cools A2 cardstock pads to create the macarons. I also added a ruffle trim that reminds me of the ruffle of the "feet" on a macaron.

Embellishments include paper flowers, ephemera, a puffy sticker and chipboard sticker from the With Love collection by Frank Garcia for Prima. 

I added another die cut macaron to the back as well as a few other embellishments.
