Lace details adorn this adorable heart-shaped pocket

One of the fun things about Memorydex cards is the ability to add fun shaped pockets. For this particular card, I added a heart-shaped pocket to the base of the card. I purchased the digital cut file from the Silhouette Design Store. 

To start out, I cut the heart pocket from a file from the Silhouette Design Store out of a teal ombre and heart patterned paper and glued the pocket piece down. I cut out a matching heart for the back, to sandwich the base of the card between the pieces of the heart. 

For the base, I used one of the Memorydex dies to cut the card from a matching pink heart ombre and heart patterned paper, trimming the top off with a paper trimmer. I then glued the heart pocket to the trimmed off Memorydex card and then glued the matching heart to the back.

Next, I chose some lace trim and used my sewing machine to stitch each end to the card. I also stitched on a lace flower and the cake ephemera piece from the With Love collection from Prima Marketing. 

I die cut the word love and glued it down to the front of the card then layered on a paper flower, some gems and a heart-shaped chipboard sticker. I also added a word sticker to the cake.

For the gift in the pocket, I punched out a few ticket shaped pieces to be coupons. I then used my Typecast typewriter to type up some text like "Free Hugs" and "Dinner." I trimmed down and glued these pieces onto the ticket shape and then added a puffy sticker or heart ephemera for decoration.

On the back, I added a piece of ephemera and a large paper flower. I then popped a resin flower pin onto the card to help hold the coupon tickets in place.
