Hi, crafty friend! I always need a little something to cheer me up during the coldest months. It's already snowed heavily here in Colorado and so I wanted to make a floral project that would brighten my day and yours. 

Let's get into this tutorial! I started with a 3x9 inch canvas, applying modeling paste through one of Sizzix Studio Ikigai stencils. 

While this paste was drying, I applied the Limoncello Creamy Matte Acrylic to some resin flower moulds. Once this yellow paint was dry, I added some of the Lilac Rainbow Luster Wax to the highlights of the moulds.

After the paste on the canvas was dry, I used water and and the Lavender Dust Creamy Matte Acrylic to add color to the canvas. After that layer of paint was dry, I tapped the Scrapbook.com White Lustre Brush over the canvas to add white paint splatters.

Next, I layered on my flowers from Prima's In Full Bloom Collection, the painted moulds and Chipboard from Reneabouquets. I did my floating frame technique where I place flowers below the frame on opposite sides of the frame.

I painted a bit of the soft matte gel onto the edges of the flower petals and sprinkled on glitter glass for sparkle. I finished off by adding a Reneabouquets bee, some pearls, and gems.
