Scrapbook Saturday: Pastel Floral Newborn Layout with Prima Marketing
I adore flowers and so you know I just had to make some more amazing projects with this new collection from Prima Marketing!
The Watercolor Floral collection is so soft and pretty! I recently made an altered mixed media project with this collection but today I'm sharing this pretty layout featuring an adorable photo of my niece from when she was 8 months old!
My sister really loved the floral pattern paper that I used in my mixed media project so I knew I needed to include it in a layout of her daughter. My sister also loves purple so I made sure to include plenty of purple in this page too.
I distressed the edges of all the layer papers and the journaling card and used foam adhesive to pop the journaling card up off the page. I matted the photo in a coordinating cardstock and also used foam adhesive to pop it up off the page.
I added on some ephemera and flowers, using a variety of mediums to adhere them all to the page.
I also fussy cut a few leaves from one of the papers to add a bit more to the page. (And also because I find fussy cutting relaxing.)
I topped it all off with a few gems for a bit of sparkle! It's such a simple page to create but the gorgeous patterns give the layout plenty of depth and interest.
But at the same time, I just love how delicate the colors and the prints are in this collection. It's so girly, light and airy!
I hope you enjoyed this simple yet oh so pretty layout!
Happy Scrapping,
Adrienne
