St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. And while green and gold colors and 4 leaf clovers are the norm, I wanted something a little brighter and more colorful. 

I love the idea of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but I didn't want this card to be so overt. Instead, I wanted this card to be something you could give for St. Patrick's Day or as a pick-me-up.

This card is pretty simple. I started with the scored Neenah Solar White A2 card and using my Tim Holtz blending brush, applied broken china Distress Oxide to the front of the card. 

I then cut the rainbow out of cardstock from the A2 Cools and Sherbet pads, using my snips to cut the pieces apart and Smart Glue to adhere the layers together. 

Using my Silhouette, I cut some clouds and hearts from the A2 Neenah Solar White flat cards. I used pumice stone and the domed foam blending tool to ink the edges of the cloud and fossilized amber, worn lipstick and wilted violet to color the hearts. 

I cut a banner from the same purple cardstock and using clear embossing ink and gold embossing powder, added a sentiment to banner. 

I then glued everything down to the card with Smart Glue and foam squares. To add the gems, I added a dot of Smart Glue to the back and pressed it onto the card.
