Storytelling: Autumn Scrapbook Layout with a Pumpkin Carriage!

Fall is in the air and I have another scrapbook layout for you!

Autumn scrapbook layout in hues of gold, brown, orange and yellow; with fussy cut and die cut leaves and flowers, the Spellbinders Fairy Tale Carriage and Happiness Storytelling dies, as well as the Happiness Press Plates.

Hey, crafty friends, I’m ready for crisp air, hot apple cider and heading to the pumpkin patch! With that in mind, I’m sharing a cozy autumn themed layout with you all today using more of the new Storytelling line from Spellbinders. (You can find all of the supplies used listed at the bottom of this post!)

Let’s pop right into the tutorial! I started by ripping the yellow gingham print from the Adventure Prints pad wide enough to fit my 4x4 photos with a bit of a white cardstock mat. I glued the ripped paper to the center of a piece of 12x12 white cardstock.

Then I set about fussy cutting. I cut leaves from the leaf print in the patterned paper pad, as well as some of the pink and cream florals. What is autumn without some mums and some crunchy leaves?! Pro Tip: Use a swivel craft knife and self healing mat for easy fussy cutting of these elements.

Then I used one of my favorite fall dies from Spellbinders, Autumn Leaves. I cut out several of the leaves from various pieces of their cardstock.

This happy little pumpkin princess needs her pumpkin carriage. I die cut the Happiness die and the Fairy Tale Carriage die from the Storytellers collection. To help the carriage die pop, I also cut out a circle to frame it in.

I pressed the Happiness press plate using the brown ink from the Regal Tones BetterPress ink set and cut it out the sentiments with the coordinating die. I also typed up my own custom journaling, “You make life magical!” and cut it into a banner.

All that was left was to assemble everything on the layout. I used foam and liquid adhesive to add my two leaf and floral clusters. I also tucked in some ephemera from the Belleview collection then popped some gold gems on.

I hope that you enjoyed this fun fussy cutting layout. What would you use the Fairy Tale Carriage for? Disney themed layouts? Drop a comment below, and until next time, happy crafting!
