I've never been to Disneyland or Disney World. There. I've said it. But going to at least one of the two theme parks in my lifetime is on my bucket list. So I absolutely love getting to scrap photos of my clients' vacations to either of the parks--I get to live a little vicariously through them!
I'm not a fan of getting overly cutesy on Disney themed scrapbook pages by using stickers and papers of the actual characters. I want the focus to be on your photos--not the embellishments which are meant to compliment your photos.
I like to use the "classic" Disney colors: black, red and yellow or gold with touches of blue, though of course this depends on what is in the photo! (If your kid is in a photo with Elsa then obviously glacial blues are a must!)
A mouse ears silhouette must make an appearance at least once in a Disney vacation album. And hearts and stars make perfect companion embellishments. So I added these to this particular layout, along with some red buttons, a die cut Disney castle and title banner, a cute little cork camera, some ephemera and a few wood veneer asterisks painted red with color mist.
